This vital report is carried out before you buy your new home, arranged by you or through the estate agent or seller. First we gather as much in-depth information we can about the building’s age, size, specifications/drawings, previous asbestos related data and more. This means we can do an accurate desk top study before the survey itself. We’re used to dealing with limited information, in which case we simply make the necessary assessments when we visit.
The survey can safely be carried out in occupied buildings. All we need is a clear area to work in for a short time while we survey the property.
We record the information electronically before sending it to our own clever bespoke software, ZAMPA. We can do the site drawings if they’re not available. Then we send everything to the office to be finished off and reviewed. Once the survey itself is finished we’ll analyse your samples in our in-house lab, which is UKAS accredited. Then we compile and upload a detailed report, review it, authorise it and send it to you as a .pdf. You can visit our online client portal to see the information lodged there.
