Practical, engaging asbestos awareness training for contractors, maintenance teams, and duty-holders, on-site or online.

Regulation 10 of CAR 2012 requires that anyone liable to disturb asbestos (or who supervises those who may) receives adequate information, instruction, and training. Awareness training provides workers and duty-holders with the knowledge to recognise ACMs, understand the associated health risks, and follow the correct procedures if they encounter asbestos during their work.
HFS Environmental delivers asbestos awareness training on-site at your premises or online via video conference, tailored to your property type, sector, and workforce. Training can be standalone or combined with our bespoke in-house training programme.
Generally, we would allow half a day to complete this, per group.

This typically includes maintenance staff, contractors, electricians, plumbers, joiners, and site managers working in pre-2000 buildings.
Yes. All delegates receive a certificate of completion following the training. Certificates are typically valid for one year, and refresher training is recommended annually to maintain compliance.
